Biggest Al Islami factory in Mideast opens in UAE

DUBAI 3 November 2017: Al Islami Foods announced the opening of its largest factory in Hamriyah Free Zone, Sharjah. The company held an on-site ribbon-cutting ceremony headed by Saleh Saeed Lootah, Chairman, Al Islami Foods.

Spread across 10,000 square meters, it is the largest food manufacturing factory for the brand and the most modern, complementing the existing logistics facility in Dubai Investment Park. The factory will create over a hundred new jobs and is expected to increase the production capacity by 150% reaching 18,000 Mt per year of Halal processed meat products for Al Islami Foods.

The state of the art factory enables Al Islami-the leading brand of Halal products to offer new solutions such as air culinary for in-flight catering industry, Sous Vide solutions for the hospitality industry and cooked products for the Horeca sector.
