ABU DHABI 9 January 2018: The National Centre of Meteorology (NCM), said that Tuesday’s weather is expected to be partly cloudy to cloudy in general, with a chance of rainfall of different intensities over scattered areas.
Moderate to fresh winds over land in general, may cause dust to blow over the exposed areas and fresh to strong winds over the sea in the Arabian Gulf.
The relative humidity is likely to increase by night and early morning over some internal areas. Wind will be north-westerly to north-easterly at a speed of 15-30/38 km/hr over land, becoming 25-40/55 km/hr over the sea.
Seafarers warned of turbulent waters
NCM) has warned seafarers not to venture into Oman Sea until Tuesday afternoon.
NCM said in a report that the sea will be very ‘disturbed’ due to strong winds and wave heights could reach between 6ft to 8ft.
