ABU DHABI 19 April 2017: A group of Yemenis injured in the war in their country were flown to India for treatment paid for by the Emirates Red Crescent (ERC), in collaboration with VPS Healthcare Group.

The ERC is coordinating with the UAE Embassy in New Delhi to ensure full support is provided.

The agency also covers the cost of medical staff who travelled with those hurt to ensure their health and psychological conditions are cared for, said Wam.

The move is part of the support being provided by the UAE to Yemenis to alleviate their suffering in the current time of crisis.
