DUBAI: After what the weather has been on Saturday – drizzly and overcast – it seems that the start to the working week in the UAE is another dreary and gloomy day, reflecting the mood of those headed for the office after a weekend.

According to weather maps abounding, Sunday – and even Monday – seem to have quite a bit of cloud cover over the UAE.

Coastal cities will have a moderate day with temperatures ranging from 14°-28° C. Internal areas may see mercury at 12°C while if you’re going to Jebel Jais, it may drop down to 9°C.

The UAE’s own National Centre of Meteorology and Seismology says it will be partly cloudy in general, becoming cloudy at times with chance of rainfall over northern areas on Sunday.

Moderate to fresh winds at times, will blow, especially over the sea. The relative humidity will increase during night and early morning over some coastal and internal areas. Sea will be moderate to rough in Arabian Gulf and in Oman Sea.

For Monday, the NCMS says it will again be partly cloudy in general, becoming cloudy at times with chance of rainfall over northern areas.

Moderate to fresh winds will blow especially over the sea. The relative humidity will increase during night and early morning over some coastal and internal areas.

Sea will be moderate to rough in Arabian Gulf and in Oman Sea.
