DUBAI: Emirati Sergeant Khalid Ali Ghareeb Al Baloushi, who was martyred while taking part in Operation Restoring Hope, being conducted by the Saudi-led Arab Coalition to back legitimacy in Yemen, was laid to rest today at Al Qusais graveyard.

A crowd of mourners carried the martyr to his last resting place after offering funeral prayers for him at Al Warqa Mosque.

They all prayed to Allah Almighty to bless his soul with mercy in eternal Paradise and grant patience and solace to his family.

Earlier, the General Command of the UAE Armed Forces had announced the martyrdom of serviceman Khalid Ali Gharib Al Beloushi while on duty with the Saudi-led Arab Coalition’s Operation Restoring Hope in Yemen.

The General Command of the UAE Armed Forces offered its condolences to the family of the martyr, praying to Almighty Allah to rest his soul in eternal peace, and bestow solace on his family, said Wam.
